Welcome!
The Faculty and Staff wish to welcome you to our school and invite all family members to become an active part of their child's education at Cedar Hill School. As our school's mission statement indicates, we aim to provide the students with an effective and developmentally appropriate education during the elementary years of education.

Mission
As learning is a life-long process, the mission of Cedar Hill School and its community is to provide an encouraging educational environment that recognizes the unique talents and abilities of individual students, successfully combines the teaching of fundamentals and higher level thinking, problem solving and communication skills and, as a result, builds a firm foundation for the students' future educational and career choices.

Goals

• To conduct a needs assessment of the academic structure of the Curriculum at Cedar Hill Schoolol
• To continue to pursue the acquisition of the latest technology for Cedar Hillll
• To improve student standards of conductct
• To provide a safe and orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learningng
• To expand instruction towards higher order thinking skills with regard to problem solving, decisioio n making, critical thinking and creative thinking through an integrated curriculum approach

Vision Statement
Cedar Hill School is an educational community that is dedicated to creating a supportive and productive environment that enables individual students to master basic fundamental skills, in order to achieve higher evel thinking skills. Special emphasis is placed on recognizing the individual needs, capabilities, and abilities of students with regard to problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and creative thinking. In a world that is constantly changing, we provide student access to the most current trends in technology. The Staff will be committed to pursue and implement the most current and effective instructional techniques so that all students will have an equal opportunity to achieve and exceed state and national standards.
